– 646 Concrete and Masonry Sealer Unique Coatings – Extreme Results Description
FGI – 646 is an extremely
unique single component ultimate performance Concrete and Masonry Sealer. The FGI-646 is an odorless water based compound proven as
a waterproofing, hardening, dust proofing sealer for concrete structures,
slabs, and floors. It is also suitable for concrete basements, (either above or
underground), walls, roofs, pillars, pipe, sculpture, architecture structures,
structural concrete, fibercrete and decorations. FGI-646 penetrates deeply into
the capillaries and pores of concrete and when it dries, it becomes part of the
concrete.
Features & Benefits
The
FGI-646 protects concrete surfaces from abrasion,
common acids, freeze-thaw
damage, ultraviolet attack and chloride ion-salt-intrusion. It stops water
seepage from either the positive treated or negative untreated side of the
concrete structure when cracking or other structural flaws do not cause the
seepage. It is also prevents efflorescence and improves the bonding of
cementitous alkaline-tolerant top coatings and paint. FGI-646 is applied by spray, roller, or brush
to new or old concrete. FGI-646 is non-toxic and has been approved for potable
water applications. FGI-646
is designed for ease of application, extreme performance, and durability in
a single component, ambient cure system.

Application Methods FGI-646 may be applied by brush, roller, or spray. Surfaces
should be free of loose rust, mill scale, paint, grease, oil and of any other
film-forming foreign material. All
surfaces may be water blasted with high-pressure (3,000 psi MIN) water to
thoroughly clean off all debris, dirt, and other contaminates. Use in well ventilated area; if
not possible, use a NIOSH approved self contained breathing apparatus or vapor filters on a
mask. Protective gloves and safety glasses must be worn at all times. Storage Stability & Shelf Life
The shelf life of FGI - 646 is one year when stored in
original, unopened container. Store cans in a well ventilated and covered area
away from extreme heat and moisture. Please contact your FGI representative if
